The Foundation for
Genetic Education and Counseling (FGEC) will promote 'genetic literacy'
among the general public and serve as a resource for genetic counseling
information for both the general public and their health care
professions. The foundation will emphasize educational programs for
individuals affected by - or at risk for - complex diseases.
